Application details
Each year the RiGS summer program will be available for 18 undergraduate students from the participating universities (6 per institution): Missouri S&T, Kutztown University, Southern Utah University.
Since tuition, housing and living stipends will be covered, preference will be given to financially challenged students.
Another important aspect of the recruitment process is to increase the number of women, underrepresented minorities and persons with disabilities.
Student selection will be conducted by the respective faculty
member(s) at each university.
How to apply?
Your application package must contain:

a recommendation letter from a faculty member and/or a professional from a prior internship experience

a personal statement discussing your interest in exploring a post-baccalaureate geoscience career
-
a brief (2 page) summary resume

transcripts your coursework
-
a statement that you receive financial aid (opional; if applicable)
Send your application by March 18th, 2022. If you miss the application window, please contact your university RiGS advisor, as seats may still be available.
